Roy Booth

Roy has been photographing most of his adult life, from his first camera, a Zenit B, through Yashica, Olympus and Canon film cameras, into the digital age with a Canon Powershot G1. It was in 2006 that Roy bought his first DSLR, a Nikon D50, and having owned a Nikon D300, now uses a Nikon D300s for all his photography.

In the past 5 years Roy has shot over 35,000 images covering subjects as diverse as wildlife, portraits, aviation, cars and motorsport, walking, landscape and architecture.

Roy has attended a number of workshops run by renowned wildlife photographer Chris Weston to hone his skills photographing Lions, Tigers, Cheetahs, Raptors, Grey Seals and will soon be undertaking a 4 day workshop in Bavaria shooting Brown Bears, Wolves and Lynx. Roy has also recently attended a one day studio lighting workshop with professional portrait and wedding photographer Jayce Clarke.
