This was our first track in Finland and what a track ! On the familiarisation lap in a Shogun driven by Vinnie we were all shocked by the daunting features of the track. Banked bends, blind crests with 90 degree bends afterwards. For our first track it was certainly a challenge and with my car very tail happy I was having to drive very carefully, but I still had a good time. I did the first session solo and had Kev Strawbrdge's wife Gaynor in the car for my second session. It was great to see her enjoying it and she would give me encouraging nods when I got things right and shake her head when I got them wrong, which was most of the time.
